Stay at home or work, cost effective and personalised learning via the internet. Since the training is live you will be able to interact in real time with your trainer and other delegates, giving you the opportunity to ask questions and participate in activities and discussions.
Not only will the webinars provide you with activities to engage and stimulate your learning, you will also be free to download materials packed with helpful resources for you to use immediately.
To participate successfully all you need is a PC connected to the internet (See below for more details)
To take part in online training, you will need a PC that has
– a screen large enough for you to read text easily
– an up-to-date browser, such as Internet Explorer 6, or later, installed
– Adobe Connect and a sound plug-in installed.
We provide a test site so that you can download software quickly and easily. (If you do not have administration rights for the PC you will use for the training, ask your IT Technician to install the software for you.)
If you can stream short video clips, then your internet connection and download speed should be sufficient to take part in online training.
Try to use an Ethernet cable to connect to the internet to improve connection and sound quality.
You can plug in headphones if you wish. A microphone is not needed.
Set up a projector and / or whiteboard if you intend to share the training with colleagues in your department.
